The traveling exhibition “Discover the Sefarad” was opened on 22 October 2019 in the Home of Culture “Aco Shopov” in Shtip. The Association of Jewish Settlements in Spain, “Caminos de Sefarad“m, created this exhibition that was previously shown in Berlin, Krakow, Belgrade, Tokyo and Skopje, and continued its travels through Macedonia – with a first stop in the town of Shtip. The occasion for this photographic celebration is the 25th anniversary of establishment of bilateral relations between Macedonia and Spain. The Holocaust Fund of the Jews from Macedonia, in cooperation with the Spanish Embassy in Macedonia, introduced this exhibition at the beginning of July this year in the Holocaust Memorial Center of the Jews from Macedonia, with agreement to also visit several other cities in Macedonia. The exhibition in Shtip was opened by Ms.Zhaklina Mucheva from the Holocaust Memorial Center of the Jews from Macedonia and will be opened until 07.11.2019. The next stop for this exhibition is Strumica.
