The working definition of Holocaust denial and distortion has been accepted
The Government of the Republic of Macedonia adopted a conclusion at its session held on 10 March 2020 that accepted the operational definition of Holocaust denial and distortion adopted by the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance - IHRA. The definition is as follows: “Holocaust denial is a discourse and propaganda that deny the historical reality, and the extent of the extermination of the Jews by the Nazis and their accomplices during World War II, known as the Holocaust or the Shoah”. The government required from all state administration bodies and institutions that do not have the status of state administration body to take into consideration the working definition of denying and distorting of the Holocaust in the event of a need for its application or use in matters within their jurisdiction.
