"Number the Stars" is a novel about the heroism of an entire country and its nation in defending its fellow Jews, forging a plan to smuggle the Jewish population of Denmark across the sea to Sweden. The story in "Number the Stars" is inspired by real events. In the introduction, the author publicly thanks her friend from Denmark, who shared with the author her childhood memories in Copenhagen in 1943 and became a model for the character of 10-year-old Annemarie Johansen. The promotion was addressed by Zhaklina Mucheva from the Holocaust Fund of the Jews from Macedonia, the editor of "Number the Stars" Bisera Bendevska, while the young Martina Atanasova read two excerpts from the novel. "Number the Stars" is published by "Libi", part of "Ars Lamina - Publications", in cooperation with the Holocaust Fund of the Jews from Macedonia.
