The "Civil Society Organizations Day" festival was organized for a third time by the "Civica Mobilitas" program of the Swiss Embassy, aimed to support the civil society and is implemented by NIRAS from Denmark and the Macedonian Center for International Cooperation (MCMS). This was the first time the Holocaust Memorial Center of the Jews from Macedonia participated in the event, presenting its contribution to the society and community through promotional materials, pointing out events of the past and the need for comprehensive education on the historical facts.

The official opening of the event was addressed by the Ambassador of Switzerland to the Republic of Macedonia, Her Excellency Sybille Suter Tejada, as well as the international team leader of the Civica Mobilitas program, Petrus Theunisz, and Aleksandar Krzalovski, as national team leader of the Civica Mobilitas program. Around 80 organizations participated at the festival, some 20 of which organized creative workshops and debates for the participants. The event also included humanitarian actions, activities aimed at education and environment protection, art therapy for children with disability, first aid and HIV testing, artistic workshops, etc.

The festival was held under the auspices of by Mrs. Elizabeta Gjorgievska, wife of the President.
