On the occasion of the end of World War II, the Russian organizational committee “Pobeda”, lead by Vladimir Putin, officially awarded the Holocaust Fund of the Jews from Macedonia with a Charter for Maintaining the Remembrance of the Fight Against the Fascism.

In addition to the plaque, the Russian Ambassador Oleg Scherbak also awarded an Honorary Medal “70 Years from the Victory in the Great Fatherland War 1941 – 1945”, which was followed by opening of the exhibition on “The Path of the Red Army from the Soviet Union Borders to Berlin 1944 – 1945”. The event took place in the Holocaust Memorial Center of the Jews from Macedonia on 22 June 2015.
