On the occasion of 27th of January – International Holocaust Remembrance Day, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Macedonia organized a Commemoration session with addresses by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Nikola Popovski, the President of the Jewish Community in the Republic of Macedonia, Mrs. Berta Romano Nikolic, the Ambassador of the State of Israel in the Republic of Macedonia, His Excellency Dan Orian, the United States Ambassador, Mr.Jess Bailey, the Ambassador of Poland, Mr. Jazek Multanowski and Sarale Gutman from Israel. The promotion of the “Mishloah Manot” book showing the life story of the Shamy family was also part of the promotional event.
