As part of the 75th year remembrance of the Holocaust of the Macedonia Jews, and on the occasion of the beginning of the Italian presidency with IHRA (International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance), organized by the Italian Embassy in Macedonia, the Holocaust Fund of the Jews from Macedonia and the Jewish Community in the Republic of Macedonia, the “Il Pane della Memoria” documentary was screened on 14 March 2018 in the Holocaust Memorial Center, in presence of the Director, Mr. Luigi Fachini and the producer, Mrs.Marina Piperno, one of the few that survived during the great deportation of the Italian Jews from Roma in October 1943. Before the screening, opening remarks were delivered by Mr. Goran Sadikarijo, Chief Executive Director of Holocaust Memorial Center for the Jews of Macedonia; Mrs. Berta Romano Nikolic, President of the Jewish Community in the Republic of Macedonia; His Excellency Mr. Carlo Romeo, Ambassador of Italy in the Republic of Macedonia; Mrs. Marina Piperno and Mr. Luigi Fachini who provided introduction about the documentary.
