Commemoration of Yom Hashoah and promotion of “The Night” book by Elie Wiesel


12th of April 2018 was the commemoration day of Yom Hashoah in held in the premises of the Holocaust Memorial Center for the Jews of Macedonia. It is the National Commemoration Day of the Holocaus and the Heroism of the State of Israel that is commemorated with remembrance to the uprising of the Jews in the Warsaw ghetto in 1943 and Day of Remembrance to 6 million Jews murdered in the Holocaust. “The Night” book by Mr.Elie Wiesel was also promoted at this event. Mr.Wiesel is a writer, professor, activist and Nobel Peace Prize winner. This book describes in authentic manner the Holocaust, seen through the eyes of the author who, as a 15 year old boy, survived the Holocaust in Auschwitz. This book is published by the Holocaust Fund of the Jews from Macedonia and Ars Libris (part of the Ars Lamina publications), promoted by Prof.Todor Chepreganov Ph.D.
