The Holocaust Memorial Center for the Jews of Macedonia, in cooperation with Memorial de la Shoah from Paris, approved by the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Macedonia, delivered educational seminar for history teachers in elementary and secondary schools. Forty professors from the Republic of Macedonia and the Republic of Bulgaria attended the event “Holocaust as a starting point: comparison and sharing” organized in Skopje on 30 August – 1 September 2017 in Skopje.

The Holocaust Memorial Center for the Jews of Macedonia, in cooperation with similar organizations continuously organizes educational seminars for elementary and secondary school teachers in the Republic of Macedonia, which are good opportunity for the teachers to acquire new knowledge, tools and practices for delivery of the Holocaust education in the schools, and possibility for their networking for sharing of best practices and cooperation when working on Holocaust projects.
