The promotional event of the “Never Forget” book by Bistrica Mirkulovska took place on 9 March 2017 in the premises of the Holocaust Memorial Center for the Jews of Macedonia. This promotion was organized as part of the commemorative program related to 11th of March. The book was promoted by the poet, Mr.Eftim Kletnikov, including guest appearances by Shchaul Gategno–Sasha – the man whose life story is told in this book. The event also included a chorus and orchestra appearances of the secondary school “Vasil Antevski Dren” and that same day a delegation of the Holocaust Fund of the Jews from Macedonia visited the city of Shtip where it laid flowers on the monument of the Holocaust victims. The “Holocaust through the children eyes” exhibition was also opened in the premises of the local municipal administration of the city of Shtip and attended the commemoration program organized by the Mayor of Shtip. That same day, in the city of Bitola, flowers were laid on the monument of deported Jews from Bitola and on the monument of the national hero Estreja Ovadija-Mara and the Holocaust victims.
