An educational seminar titled “The Holocaust as a starting point: comparisons and sharing” was held in the Memorial Center of the Holocaust of the Jews from Macedonia at the end of March 2019. The seminar is intended for teachers from elementary and secondary schools from Macedonia, Serbia and Albania who teach history, civic education and acquaintance with religions. The Memorial Center of the Holocaust of the Jews from Macedonia organized this seminar in cooperation with the Holocaust Memorial Center in Paris.

The official opening of the seminar was addressed by the Director of the Holocaust Fund of the Jews from Macedonia, Mr. Goran Sadikarijo; the Ambassador of France H.E. Mr. Christian Thimonier, the Director of International Relations at the Memorial de la Shoah, Mr.Bruno Boyer and the coordinator of Macedonia at IHRA, Mr.Jovan Tegovski.
