The Holocaust Memorial Center of the Jews from Macedonia hosted a lecture by professor Eliezer Papo PhD from the Center for Ladino Culture “Moshe David Gaon” from the “Ben Gurion University in ber Sheva, Izrael, on topic “Transmediterranean and Transatlantic nature of the Sephardic culture. This excellent lecturer managed to hold the attention of the audience showing new data on the migrations and adaptations of the Sephardic Jews, Sephardic culture and tradition, construction of the synagogues and the origins of the customs and beliefs. The audience enjoyed the lecture in a pleasant environment accompanied with certain degree of appropriate humor.
